Empower Women Now Offers
Empowered Women Now has made a deal with PRWeb for a free release distribution valued at $200.
They currently have a contest with prizes. (Currently their contest entry method is a simple link to them ~ so I guess this means I might be entered. *wink*)
I found all of this out via one trip to this one post of theirs: LinkBait Experiment: Calling all women entrepreneurs and mom bloggers. I would have just posted that as a quick link, but honestly, I was really confused at first with what they were asking folks to do with their "linkbait request" and mentions of a contest. (Sure, all the info was in the post, or linked too, but it wasn't as clear as I would have liked.)
Again, I have no idea how welcoming Empower Women Now (officially, or member-wise) will be to 'our lot.' So proceed with caution when posting comments and networking.

Hi There Ms. Marketing Whore!
1. I'm very, very nice to work with...at least that's what I'm told. But, I'd like to think I wouldn't have gotten the name "Power Networker Ponn" if I wasn't a great chick to network with either ;-)
2. Yes, males can enter any contest, free offers, such as the Free $200 PRWeb.com; which by the way is one of my biggest joint venture partners, who prior to our cooperative offer had never given away ANYTHING of this magnitude before...$200 buys the Premium top of the line press release package. It's a must for all internet marketers.
3. Sorry of any confusion, all the post was: yes, a shameless (I guess "dirty") plug of top 10 reasons why YOU need to link to our resource website/blog! And, you did it...along with your entry to our contest, etc. So, sorry if you expected more...or I led you astray.
4. As for putting my online networking skills to the test, you should consider sticking around my site and see our free challenges in social networking/bookmarking.
I'm also the Powerful Networking Columnist at WomenEntrepreneur.com (Entrepreneur.com's sister-site).
5. Don't forget to get your site in the Link Exchange Directory: http://www.empowerwomennow.com/news-women-entrepreneurs/directory/
Hmmm...if you don't find a particular category, pitch me one. Marketing blog, maybe? Your input is appreciated.
6. Not, sure what you mean my "officially, or member-wise, wil be to 'our lot'' means...so, please tell me more.
Of course, my site is family friendly, but what you're doing here on your blog is a great play-on-words...with marketing to adults...please come often and utilize any and all resources we offer at EmpowerWomenNow.com
Any more questions...ask away!
Thanks for finding me ;-)
Hello Ponn,
I think what Gracie (aka The Whore) was trying to say was that since so many of we readers have what would be called 'adult content' (be it frank sex advice, erotica or images) that we are often unwanted at other networking sites. That's "our lot", the group of unwanted sex talkers ;)
And the "official vs members" means that while you may be welcoming, or we aren't prohibited, other members can make quite a stink over us "perves".
We aren't a lousy bunch (we do try to be respectful while learning/participating), but we sure can be treated lousy... So The Whore was warning us that she had no experience with the community at your site.
Then again, I could be all wrong and should let her speak for herself. :p
(I also wanted a chance to say what I've experienced at other sites. lol)
Ponn, what SPS said is true. I certainly meant no offense towards you, but rather that adult biz folks should be alert to possibly offending your community.
We have a difficult time participating in 'real' business communities because of the nature of our businesses. (Which is why I, over-worked as I already am, started this blog ~ with hopes of bridging gaps.)
I do plan on visiting your site again. :)
I went through and filled everything out. I hope my link goes up and I get some traffic. I own an online lingerie boutique. I put the recipricol link on my blog. I sell pretty underwear and, well, women need underwear. Wish me luck and thanks for the lead.
Life is short. Wear pretty underwear.
