The king in Burger King is no more the symbol for masculinity than Dairy Queen is the symbol of femininity.
Your post only perpetuates misogyny, especially on the web, where it seems most rampant. IMO.
It's just the end that's stupid, the rest is not bad for pimping their product. I've noticed the last few days they've been airing a different version of the commercial. Maybe they heard you? ;-)
Anon, aren't the words 'king' and 'queen' the very verbal symbols (words) for masculine and feminine? Hence the upset. As a woman, I found the commercials with that ending most offensive.
